Andy and Rachel opened Jyoti bistro takeaway with the sole purpose of providing an alternative option for those who enjoy good quality food without the bother of cooking or dining out. As food enthusiasts living here for a number of years, they found the region lacking in such options yet an abundance of good restaurants.p1040059q.jpg

The recently refurbished bistro has a spanish/moroccan feel. The friendly vibe is magnetic, you can chill out surfing the internet whilst you wait for your food or prop up the counter listening to the ambient tunes playing. Keep up to date and read a local magazine or newspaper, possibly sample the ambient selection of cakes and muffins or grab a tea or one of our infamous milkshakes.

New onsite facilities now available including a cosy eating area with a lovely wood burner for those winter evenings and a large partially shaded terrace posing stunning mountain views . Jyoti is perfect for a romantic candal lit dinner or that special family occasion. Please book in advance!!!

A large menu blackboard is on display and takeout menu's are provided with every order.

The menu takes into account seasonable produce therefore the specials board is ever changing.


The owner Andy is a trained chef with over 26 years experience in the food industry all produce hand made.

All dishes freshly prepared by an experienced chef, locally grown produce is used taking into account the seasonal changes.

We make our dough daily using an authentic Italian recipe. All our Pizzas are handmade

Create your own combination with additional ingredients (Bacon, Tuna, Sweet Corn, Mushrooms, Ham, Onion, Pineapple, etc.)

GRAB AND GO
As everything is handmade a minimum waiting time is 30 min. therefore we decided a Chilled Cabinet idea for those who want to grab and go. We have: baguettes, salads, cheesecake and a selection of drinks (beers, water, milk). At present we have a meal deal offer, any baguette or salad with a drink and a piece of cheesecake for 5 €. (Bargain)
